5-a-side Tournaments - JAN / FEB 2007
Glasgow ANSAR held their bi-annual football tournaments in Jan and Feb of 2007.
The Adult event was hosted at the K7X complex on Sun 28th Jan with the Under 16's event in Glasgow Green on Sun 11th Feb.
Finalist from both events will take part in an overall event in May for the chance to win tickets to the 2007 UEFA CUP FINAL @ Hampden Park....

Iftari 2006 - OCT 2006
ANSAR and Lamb Curry show racism the Red Card!
Glasgow ANSAR in partnership with Show Racism the Red Card held a Multi-faith Iftari Meal on Saturday 21st October in Glasgow’s Village Curry House restaurant. The aim of the evening was to celebrate the Muslim month of fasting (Ramadan), whilst raising awareness amongst non-Muslim young people on how to combat Islamophobia in society.
